![]() That would make Lightroom an utterly confusing mess, which would be much worse than having a few people complaining because they don't read the friendly manual. Switching from one to the other is almost impossible. Im trying to make 14 raw files look a lot like each other. Lightroom would also still have two different preset types, two different profile types, color grading as well as split toning and so on and so forth. I just installed the new Camera Raw this morning, and I have to say it is very nearly unusable. And of course not only that, because it would apply to all new features we got in the past. In this case it would mean that Lightroom would have to maintain two sets of mask types, the old mask type and the new mask type. Making every new feature optional may sound good on paper, but it's a totally unrealistic request. They should post a list of features and you can optionally enable the new ones instead of wondering why things are not working the way they did the day previous. And those of us that use Lightroom everyday do not appreciate having to relearn features that possibly some have asked for and possibly some have not. My point is that when new features come out they're forced upon people that make often significant changes in our workflow. ![]() I'll look to see what you have suggested.
